A partnership arm, a business-services engine, and an investment practice — bound by forty years of relationships and a single idea: removing barriers, enabling growth.
For forty years, Al Ghafa has grown from a single trading house on the Mutrah Corniche into a group that helps the world's leading organisations enter, build and grow across Oman and the Gulf — and, increasingly, invests and builds alongside them.
The heart of the group — market entry, government relations and growth for international organisations, as their representative and partner on the ground.
The delivery engine — government transactions, manpower mobilisation and workforce services at scale, run on GhafaCore for complete transparency.
Where the opportunity is right, the group invests and co-develops alongside trusted partners — committed to the outcome, not just the introduction.
Established by the late H.E. Ambassador Dr. Moosa bin Jaafar bin Hassan — international trading, and the first agencies, from Oman's historic maritime gateway.
From computer software to Märklin toys; into construction and maintenance, and direct maintenance contracts with the Ministry of Defence.
Al Ghafa becomes the trusted local partner for international engineering and energy firms entering Oman.
Expansion into Qatar — a bridge between Oman, Qatar and the UAE.
Four decades after first distributing software, the group builds its own AI-powered platform to run a modern services business.
Partner to international leaders in engineering, energy and industry — with our own technology, and an investment practice alongside.

Like his father before him, he was named an Ambassador for Peace.
Fluent in Arabic, English, French and Spanish, he carries his father's belief in dialogue and bridge-building into a new era defined by technology and partnership.
